Questions?
Common Questions
What should I wear when I visit??
Our greatest desire is to have you as our guest. Don’t worry about what you wear. We won’t.
What will the preaching be like?
We teach through books of the bible. Expository preaching is a form of preaching that dives into the original meaning of the passage of scripture. This does not mean that you miss out on the life application of the scriptures, in fact preaching from verse to verse and book to book means that you get even more life application. God has spoken to His people and we must not pick and choose what He wants to tell us. We are committed to preaching the full counsel of our Creator.
What will the music be like?
Our music is joyful, worshipful and includes both modern praise music and traditional hymns.
How long will the service be?
In total, a Community service is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with the Community Worship Team leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto screens allowing you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an exegetical message from the book of the Bible being currently studied .
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should enjoy coming to church every single week. With Community Kids, our children’s ministry (Newborn-5th grade), we make this a priority combined with child safety. We suggest giving yourself an extra ten minutes to sign in your child into our secure electronic check-in. Community Kids is offered every Sunday morning. In the event that we would need to reach the parents/guardians of a child during the service, we will send you a text. For more info, check out our Community Kids Page here.
Where should I sit?
The Information Desk will be straight ahead as you walk in. Ushers will be there to assist you in finding a seat in the worship center. They also have details about services, classes, and the church nursery.
Will there be a place for me to park?
The church has parking both in front and behind our building. There are places saved up front for visitors, senior churchgoers, and expectant mothers.
Which doors do I enter when I visit?
The central double doors in the front open into our lobby.
What’s the culture like at CBC?

Do you all take part in communion?
