About Community Kids
Who we are
Community Kids is committed to creating an engaging atmosphere for your child to learn the Bible and know Jesus with our kids ministry. We are passionate about raising up the next generation to serve and lead the Church.
Infants through 5th grade
Our classes
CK serves our families with providing classes and more for kids from Infant ages through 5th grade. There are currently 5 classrooms:

Your kids are in great hands
Every check-in follows the same simple steps, so you never have to wonder who has your child.

Matching name tags
At check-in, each child gets a name tag and you get a matching pick-up tag with their name, your contact, and any allergies noted.

Secure pick-up
Only an adult with the matching tag can pick up your child. No tag, no pick-up. Simple as that.

Screened, caring team
Every volunteer is background-checked and trained, so you can fully engage in worship knowing your kids are safe and loved.

Kids’ classes meet during both services, at 9:30 and 11:00 AM.
9:30 AM
CK Sunrise
Over this hour, our teachers introduce the weekly lesson, games, and other activities reinforcing the applicable Scripture passage for the week.
10:30 – 10:50 AM
CK Transition
During this period, kids leave their classrooms to come together. They’re offered snacks and water, along with worship music, puzzles, and other table activities. It’s a chance for them to move around, take a break, and reset before going back to class if families plan to stay over both hours. Sometimes, special events like missionary visits or quarterly birthday celebrations happen during this time. We’re happy to accommodate any dietary or allergy needs with snack options.
11 AM
CK Shine
During this hour, a new group of teachers reviews the weekly Bible lesson through different games and activities. The focus stays on the same Scripture passage taught at 9:30 a.m. To keep things consistent, the 11:00 a.m. classes are designed to work well for both kids who are just arriving and those staying for a second hour by offering new games and activities.

Who Can Check in Kids?
Parents with a child within the age range of 6 weeks to 5 years, and all Kindergartners through 5th graders.
How do I drop off and Pick up my Child?
Parents should check in their child. You and your child will receive an id tag. Once checked in, you will then drop off your child at the appropriate class. All classrooms are labeled by age and we will have plenty of people that can guide you where to take them.
To pick up your child, you will go back to the class you dropped your child off at. Parents should present their child’s matching ID tag at the time of pick-up so volunteers can ensure each child is given to the proper parents or guardians.
Who will be working with the kids?
All volunteers are from the CBC church family, background-checked, and trained in Community Kids policies. They are excited to work with the kids! Additionally, Safety team members are onsite overseeing our church campus.
Do my kids have to attend both hours?
Absolutely not! Our classes have separate material that may have a common theme each week but does not require your child to be in both classes
