This Week

• Foundations Group Ladies Brunch- The votes have been tallied! The Foundations Group (20s-40s) Ladies Brunch will be going to August Sage, located in the Factory in Columbia, at 10am, this Saturday, August 24. Any who would like to carpool should meet at the church at 9:30am. If you haven’t RSVP’d, please click here to let us know.
• Mawhorter Diaper Sprinkle- This is the last week to help celebrate the upcoming arrival of Baby Mawhorter by showering the family with diapers and wipes! A table will be in the lobby to collect them.
• Ruley Family Departure- As the Ruley family prepares to leave the States and return to their mission field, we will have a dedicated time of prayer for them during both services. As a reminder, any offering designated as “Missions” during the month of August will go to the Ruleys. 
• Communion and Baptisms- We will celebrate the Lord’s Table during both services this Sunday and begin the second service with two baptisms. 
• Ladies Book Club and Salad Luncheon- The ladies will be meeting on Monday, August 26 for the next Book Club and Salad Luncheon. We will be reading “Sticky Notes” by Sherri Schoenborn Murray. Book club will start at 10am, followed by lunch at 11am. Everyone is welcome to attend either or both.
• Mid-Week Meetings
  • KidzLife and Youth will meet at their normal time, 6:30-7:45pm. 
  • The Missions Committee will meet in the Fellowship Hall from 6:30-7:45pm.

Next Week

• Children’s Ministry Prayer Time- The next Children’s Ministry Prayer Time will be on Sunday, September 1 following the first service. We will meet in the auditorium to spend 10-15 minutes in prayer for our Children’s Ministry. This month’s focus will be on our volunteers. Specific requests are:
  • Pray that teachers would hear God’s voice and feel the Spirit’s leading as they prepare lessons.
  • Pray that all volunteers would spiritually grow through their service.
  • Pray that they’d be encouraged to see how God is using them to make a difference.
