Frequently asked questions

Where are small groups held?

Small groups are held at an individual’s home each week. Usually this is the small group leader’s home.

How long do groups meet?

Small groups meet for 2 hours. Most small groups meet on Sunday nights from 5PM – 7PM, however, there are a few small groups that meet throughout the week. During this time, small groups will share a meal, discuss questions from the sermon, and lastly, spend time in prayer.

How many people are in a group?

Groups are usually 10-12 members, with people of all ages.

What is expected?

As a small group member, we have several expectations to ensure a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone involved. It is important to come prepared and ready to participate, actively engaging in discussions and bringing thoughtful contributions. Additionally, members must maintain confidentiality, respecting the personal information shared within the group. Being accountable to the group involves setting personal and spiritual goals, sharing them with the group, and seeking support and encouragement as we strive to achieve them. Taking ownership of our responsibilities means being faithful, accountable, and teachable within the small group, actively participating in discussions, and embracing opportunities for growth. Small group members should also uplift our Small Group leader and fellow members in prayer. Lastly, it is important to encourage one another to cultivate daily quiet times with God, prioritizing personal reflection, prayer, and Bible study.
