Why Sunday School
More than a class. Sunday School is where you slow down, open the Word, and wrestle with it alongside other people who are doing the same thing. Every class looks a little different, but here’s what you can expect:
Dig Into Scripture
Go deeper than a Sunday service allows. Go verse by verse, topic by topic, at a pace that lets questions breathe.
Ask Honest Questions
No question is off-limits. Our classes are a safe place to work through doubt, disagreement, and hard passages together.
Grow With Others
Show up nearly every week and you’ll leave with more than a lesson. You’ll leave with people who know you.

Current classes
Every class studies the same curriculum each week; we just group by age and season of life so the discussion and application fit where you’re actually at. All classes meet Sundays from 11:00-12:00 PM.

All four classes are working through the same study this quarter: Doing Church: Essentials for an Effective Ministry.

HOMEBUILDERS
20s & 30s · Auditorium
Same weekly study, applied to the season of new marriages, young kids, and building a household on a shared foundation of faith.
LEGACY
40s & 50s · Room 201
Same weekly study, discussed alongside others navigating career, teenagers, aging parents, and midlife questions of faith.
SENIOR ADULTS
60s+ · Fellowship Hall
Same weekly study, grounded in decades of walking with the Lord and a strong focus on fellowship and encouragement.
WOMEN
Room 206
Same weekly study, discussed among women across every age and stage, with space set aside for prayer and encouragement.

What to expect
Step 1
Classes follow Sunday service
Classes start at 11am. People typically mingle in the lobby and grab coffee. Just make sure to be in your class by 11am.
Step 2
Open Bible, open discussion
Bring a Bible if you have one; extras are always available. Classes are conversational, not lecture-only.
Step 3
Kids are taken care of
Community Kids runs during the Sunday School hour, so your children are in great hands while you’re in class.
Step 4
Pick a class
No sign-up, no commitment required. Sit in on whichever class fits your season of life.
Step 5
No homework, no pressure
You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. Just show up ready to listen, ask questions, and engage.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to sign up ahead of time?
No, Sunday School is open enrollment. Just show up to whichever class fits your season of life, no registration required.
What if I’m new to CBC or new to studying the Bible?
You’re welcome in any class and there is no pressure to answer questions.
Is childcare provided?
Yes. Community Kids runs during the full Sunday School hour, so kids are cared for while adults are in class.
