The Lord has called us to a church-planting ministry among the Muslim people of northern Cameroon, Africa. Almost 100% of the people of our region are blinded by the religion of Islam and have never once heard the true message of salvation through Christ alone. Along with this pioneer evangelism, we also enjoy a weekly Bible study with a group of non-Muslims who are foreigners to the area. We are praying that this would grow into a church plant of dedicated Christians who will help us reach the Muslim population for Christ.

Lewis and Sarah Carl

Field: Venice, Italy
Lewis and Sarah Carl, along with their daughter Amelia, are ministering in Venice, Italy as church-planting missionaries. Though the city is known for its water canals, gondolas and beautiful masks, as well as considered the world’s largest and most preserved museum, it is also a city where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is desperately needed. Someone has said that Venice has not had a true Gospel witness for over 300 years.
Currently, they are serving in the Filipino Bible Church of Venice, preaching, leading Bible studies and training leaders. They are also concentrating on making Italian contacts in the islands of Venice and the surrounding areas with a goal of starting an Italian church in Venice in the coming years.

Dwight and Melisa Ruley
Status: On Deputation
The Lord has called us to preach the gospel to the Muslims of northern Cameroon and to help establish a local church in this heavily Muslim area. After three years of ministry at Community Baptist Church we are excited to be on deputation. We look forward to partnering with churches so that we can get to the mission field in a timely manner. We believe that the Lord has called us to this wonderful mission of preaching Christ to those who have never heard. Once on the mission field we will be serving alongside the Zane and Pam Bachman family and the Jim and Jenna Wright family. We are looking forward to ministering alongside them and learning from them.
